Genevieve "Jean" Piech (nee Kozik), of Oak Forest, age 94. Beloved wife of the late Richard Piech. Loving mother of Richard Piech (Diane), Arlene Minas (Lawrence), Rose Steward(Ron), Marcia Burkhardt (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Jake Minas (Jessica), Sara Kozera (Dan), Melissa Taylor (Ryan), Jeanna Channell (Randy), Anna Piech (Jake) and great grandmother of Ryder Vanesse , Addison and Maxwell Kozera, Mason, Stone and Tori France. Preceded in death by her siblings Walter, Edward, Francis, Harriette, Stella and Helen. Born and raised in Harvey. Where she met her husband at International Harvester. Active member of St. Damian Church. Loved to spend time with family and enjoyed holidays with her many nieces and nephews and sisters. She enjoyed cooking, eating, spending time in her garden, playing bingo or doing jigsaws puzzles. Everyone said to know her was to love her, she had a smile for everyone and if you had the pleasure of meeting her you felt her love.
