James Carabine, a kind and warm-hearted individual, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at Palos Community Hospital. Born on July 20, 1963, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, James dedicated his life to both his career and his family. He worked proudly with the family at JC and Sons Towing Company, a venture through which he built lasting relationships within his community.
James's personality was as vibrant as his interests; he was known for his love of motorcycles and mechanics, often sharing this passion with those around him. His family and friends knew him as a loving and devoted father, deeply committed to the well-being of his loved ones. His proudest accomplishment was the care he gave to his family, always putting their needs above his own. A big dog and cat lover, James also found joy in the companionship of his furry friends, whom he affectionately referred to as his fur babies Earthy and Charlie.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter, Stacey Carabine; James Carnithan, his son, James Carabine; Kristin Ann, his devoted fiancée; and his sister, Dolly Gorman. He also cherished the bonds with his nephew, Patrick Gorman, and his niece, Shannon Mendoza.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Arlene Carabine, and his sister, Angel Carlson.
A visitation in honor of James will be held on May 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McKenzie Funeral Home located at 15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, Illinois.
James Carabine will be remembered for his loving spirit, infectious warmth, and unwavering dedication to family. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
