Theresa Hollandsworth

Theresa Hollandsworth, a beacon of warmth and love, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Orland Hills, Illinois. Born on June 9, 1950, in Chicago, she lived a life filled with joy, nurturing her family and cultivating her passions, particularly her love for gardening and planting flowers.

Theresa's home was always alive with laughter, the kind that echoed through the rooms as she spent cherished moments with her grandchildren, Henry, Ethan, Olivia, and Veronica. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, with a heart so big it welcomed everyone who crossed her path.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Hollandsworth, and their son, John Hollandsworth Jr., along with Julie, his devoted wife. Together, they created precious memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those she cherished.

Theresa's nurturing spirit and bright smile were only outshone by her love for her family. Although she will be deeply missed, her legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to thrive in the stories shared by her loved ones.

A visitation in honor of Theresa will be held on February 13, 2025, at McKenzie Funeral Home, located at 15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Her memory will remain a guiding light to those left behind, reminding them of the beauty of love, family, and nature that she so passionately embraced throughout her life. She is also predeceased by her son, Timothy Hollandsworth, and her loving parents, Ben Cichocki and Sophie Nastachowski. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved by all who had the privilege to know her.
